What is Charles Leclerc's driving style?
It is an Aggressive Oversteer driving style. This is why.
Charles Leclerc is known as an aggressive driver and a fast qualifier. He can get the most out of the car during a one-lap sprint, maximising the tyre grip. In F3 and F2, he was aggressive as the cars were lighter and more nimble. Going into F1, he kept his aggressive style, but dialled it down to suit the modern F1 cars.
Leclerc prefers an oversteery setup with a strong front end. This allows him to rotate the car quickly, without having to induce much rotation himself. Oversteery car setups have more natural rotation, but less stability. Leclerc tends to like oversteery setups as they allow him to carry lots of speed into corners and still have good rotation. Further, he takes a slightly U-shaped line through corners carrying a higher mid-corner speed than Sainz.
