What was Jacques Villeneuve's driving style?
It was an Aggressive Oversteer driving style. Here's why.
Jacques Villeneuve was an experienced driver with an innate feeling for the limit inherited from his father: Gilles Villeneuve. However, Villeneuve’s driving style was less aggressive than his predecessor for a multitude of reasons. At first, he started his racing career in Formula 3 at age 18. Crafting his style over 7 years, he eventually drove for Williams F1 team in 1996. He had great success in his early years but lost pace over time, retiring in 2006. Over two decades of F1, he drove for 4 teams and adapted his style accordingly. His most dominant season was with Williams in 1997 where he took the World Driver's Championship, beating Ralf Schumacher.
